It’s time once again for the Top 3 Indies Artist Video Countdown of the Top 3 best Indies and Alternative Music artists for the week of Sept 9, 2017!

First up is a band that is my favorite new band of the year. In fact, I think Amyl & the Sniffers are one of the most fun and exciting acts to come on the scene in years! Monsieur Sean Thomas Bohrman, the head cheese at the world’s coolest label, Burgers Records, wrote TODAY about Amyl & the Sniffers: “Got to release one of my very favorite new bands today on Burger cassette – Amyl and The Sniffers from St Kilda, Australia!!!” Damn! Sean is a man with awesome great taste!

Amyl & the Sniffers have a Facebook page too. Don’t be the last on your block to go “Like” it:

#3) Amyl and the Sniffers – Balaclava Lover Boogie

Oh, and don’t forget to check out Amyl & the Sniffers on my regular Sunday FM radio show, “WTF?” (Every Sunday 8 am ~ 10 am) in Tokyo and Nagoya (also nationwide on where we play this band like a religion. Heck, I played 4 of their songs last week.  (Please come “Like” our FB page too:

At #2 are the Cambodian Space Project which has now landed in the USA and is touring at this very moment in the space – time continuum. YOU MUST NOT MISS THIS CHANCE TO SEE THIS WAY COOL BAND! Go check their Facebook page here to see when and where they will be appearing near you:

At #1 is a band from South London that rocks! They are 5 guys named, “Shame.” I read a review of these guys that said, “Utterly brilliant. Shame are a breath of fresh air in a world of vacuous youth pop.” OK. I would agree with that. Shame are also touring the USA at the moment and you can see their live schedule here on their Facebook:

#1) Shame – Tasteless

Spotlight Artist!  Today’s spotlight artists are another band that appears on the soundtrack of  “Ghostroads – A Japanese Rock n Roll Ghost Story.”  They are the Mackshow from Tokyo, Japan. The Mackshow are hot rock n rollers and their bio describes them as, “Japanese Rock & Roll icons of the 21st century. They have a unique concept that incorporates leather jackets, regent hair-style and Japanese rock and roll of the “Showa Era” (1960’s~80’s). They are a three piece R&R band.”

Check out their Facebook page. These guys are cool (and have a great sense of humor!)

Spotlight Artist! THE MACKSHOW – THE MACKSHOW – Nana Han Kozo’s Theme
