It’s time once again for the Top 3 Indies Artist Video Countdown. The Top 3 best Indies and Alternative Music artists for the week of July 29, 2017! And it’s LADIES NIGHT! The top female fronted bands of the week!

First up is a brand new band from Gothenburg, Sweden introduced to us by alert DJ extrodinaire, Alex Kish of Wassup Rocker Radio. (See Wassup Rocker Radio’s Mix Tape for this week here:

Alex brings us two girls with bad attitudes and they are named “Shitkid.” Shitkid is on the PNKSLM Recordings label (It says, “Punk Slime.”) Punk Slime has a cool webpage:

Shitkid has a cool Facebook page. Go “Like” it.

#3) ShitKid – “Sugar Town”

Next up is new star, Fiona Silver From New York! One of my fave music magazines, Deli Magazine says, “We are aware that the label “Femme Fatale” may sound chauvinistic to some, but when a lady enters the stage like this … we think the title is not only deserved but actually pursued.”

Thank God I live in Japan! We don’t really have this PC correct nonsense going on here so much… I like girl bands… They say Fiona Silver is a “Femme Fatale”!?“Femme Fatale”? What’s that? Big words in foreign language!?Ohh, I’m scared! …. I won’t have this PC nonsense on my posts! I won’t! I won’t, I tell you! I just think Fiona Silver is a smoking hot babe with an awesome voice and great tunes. She’s been getting heavy airplay here in Japan on my weekly radio show (WTF? InterFM897 – Please come “Like” our page: and if she keeps cranking out tracks like this one, this trend will continue!

Oh, Fiona Silver has a Facebook page too:

#2) Fiona Silver – Love Grenade

This week’s #1 is another hot tune brought to you by, Wassup Rocker Radio‘s ever-on-the-lookout DJ, Alex Kish. Alex is one of the best American purveyors of the finest in Punk and other forms of sonic brain damage. Alex brings us our second shit band (Please refer to #3 above) and this time it’s two girls from London who their label claim to be, “BFF.” I reckon in today’s vernacular that either means, “British Female Friends” or”Best Friend’s Forever” or “Bacon Fried Fajitas.” (I think I just invented a new food sensation!)

Today, we feature their debut single which came out in May, 2017…. This band kind of reminds me of Le Tigre… Besides that, there’s basically no information about these two excepting being British and friends… They don’t even have a Facebook page, but their label does:

#1) Shit Girlfriend – Mummy’s Boy

BONUS TRACK! Sloan Peterson from Australia! Her bio says: “Sloan Peterson; a love child of 50’s guitar pop and modern garage rock, bursting with a warmth that’s inseparable from her private identity. Influenced by everything from Elvis, to Latin legend Xavier Cugat or the fashion statements of Nancy Sinatra and Bowie – Sloan Peterson is the sum of these influences that adds up to so much more.”

Sloan Peterson’s also been getting heavy airplay here in Japan on my weekly radio show (WTF? InterFM897 – Please come “Like” our page: Here’s Sloan Peterson’s Facebook page:

BONUS TRACK! Sloan Peterson – Rats

Cool, eh? Hey! My friends and I made a feature Rock n Roll comedy ghost film: Ghostroads – A Japanese Rock n Roll Ghost Story. It hits theaters in Japan on Sept. 30, 2017. The Japanese trailer just came out! (It has English subtitles!) Check it! Oh, and we have a really cool webpage:
