It’s time once again for the Top 3 Indies Artist Video Countdown for Mar. 31, 2018! Starting off the countdown today are a five member band from Australia that was introduced to us by Alex Kish over at Wassup Rocker Radio. The band’s name is “Batz.”

The bio on Batz states: “Hailing from Melbourne’s inner northern suburbs, BATZ formed in late 2015 to bring their audiences what’s become a notoriously intense and rowdy yet authoritative live show.Thrashy guitars, a driving rhythm section and front-woman Christina Aubry’s commanding and passionate vocal performance, BATZ’ music takes inspiration from and has been compared to the likes of Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, Blondie and The B-52’s.”

They have a Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/batz-batz

And a Facebook too! https://www.facebook.com/batzbandmelbs/

3) BATZ 3 AM PONY  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9Ev1PIYxQg

At #2 is a band who debuted on our countdown for the first time last week and here they are again! They are a trio from Colorado called, “The Television Generation.” They just released their latest EP entitled “Peel.” So check that out.

Blogtalk radio writes: “TVG is a 3 piece alternative rock band with punk rock energy and an affinity for 60’s pop and 90’s grunge. The band began in 2010 with lead singer and guitarist Will Hayden writing songs and playing with friends in a basement. After a few lineup changes the band adopted their drummer’s former horror punk band name Television Generation and set forth to conquer with sad, angry, socially charged rock n’ roll set to poppy melodies and grungy guitar riffs.”

Here’s their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/televisiongen/

#2) Television Generation – Fuchsia https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qU5j7Y_hlSA

At #1 this week is the band that has probably been on this countdown over this last year more than any other band. They are called, “Amyl & the Sniffers.” The band is headed up by lead singer Amy Louise and this band freaking rocks. Alex Kish over at Wassup Rocker radio writes about Amyl & the Sniffers: “They’re the shit. Hands down. Their singles are really good. Their non-hits are pretty good too. Push bike is super loud. I’m into that!”

Amyl and the Sniffers get the #1 spot today because a little birdie tells me they are about to make a huge announcement! Stay tuned!
