Top 3 Videos 8/25/17! The Neatbeats, Darts, Estrons, Honeychain, Creepshow, Homeless Gospel Choir!

It’s time once again for the Top 3 Indies Artist Video Countdown of the Top 3 best Indies and Alternative Music artists for the week of August 25, 2017! There’s so much good music today that we have a special! Five songs for the price of three!

First up are the Darts and this song that just came out a few days ago! They are a garage-psych rock 4 piece girls rock band from Phoenix AZ and Los Angeles CA. The Darts say they are: “Garage-psych-rock grrls who will make your head slam and your feet shake. And then there’s the music.”

Be on the lookout for their new album that will be out next month, Sept. 2017! Here’s their Facebook page. Go “Like” it!

#5 The Darts (US) – “The Cat’s Meow”

At #4 is Derek Zanetti from Pittsburgh, PA and he calls his act, the Homeless Gospel Choir. His bio says, “The Homeless Gospel Choir (Derek), is a protest singer, author and artist based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Through his on-stage humor and vulnerability, Derek creates an atmosphere of inclusion and community. He engages with the audience in a way that allows them to know that they’re not alone. His new record, Normal, was described by Frank Turner as “a generationally defining album for the underground punk scene.” He also said, “In half an hour, Derek reminded me of what punk’s supposed to be.”

The Homeless Gospel Choir has a Facebook page:

#4) The Homeless Gospel Choir – Normal

At #3 are an Alternative music 4 piece outfit from Cardiff (I guess that’s in the UK). Their name is the Estrons. Contact Music says: Estrons are a Welsh band of misfits full of attitude and stories to share. Their unique blend of indie rock and riot grrrl vocals works perfectly to create a sound akin to the likes of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Blood Red Shoes.”

The Estrons have a Soundcloud:

#3) Estrons – Strobe Lights

Next up is a band that claims, “We’ve been compared to some cool bands. This makes us happy.” Their name is honeychain and their newest is produced by Kim Shattuck of the Muffs fame. Their bio says: honeychain is the sound of chaotic romance, in-your-face garage pop swagger, and hypnotic heartbreak. With a sound soaked in bittersweet alternative rock and sun drenched punky power pop, this Los Angeles based formidable threesome have received a number of stellar reviews from music fans and music critics alike along with radio airplay on numerous college and independent stations and by Rodney Bingenheimer.”

Here’s honeychain’s Facebook:

#2) honeychain – There Goes That Girl

At #1 is a punk/psychobilly band from Montreal, Canada! Their name is Creepshow! Alternative Press named Creepshow, “One of the top bands you need to know about.” Their Bio says: “Since their inception, the band has brought their genre-defying blend of country-tinged, psycho punk rock n’ roll to over 25 countries worldwide with plans to conquer many more as soon as possible. … Whatever you do though, don’t write THE CREEPSHOW off as just another psychobilly band. While their lyrics draw inspiration from b-movies and early horror films, they’re also full of personal insight and personal stories dealing with everything from addiction to mental health to tales of love gone horribly wrong.”

#1) The Creepshow – Sticks & Stones
