This their newest single and it rocks. It’s called “Bye Bye Very Good” and it’s off their just released new album, “Operation the Beat.”

Top 3 Indies Artist Videos for Feb 26, 2017! Neatbeats (Japan), Lemon Twigs, Faz Waltz, Honeychain!

It’s time once again for the Top 3 Indies Artist Video Countdown. The Top 3 best Indies and Alternative Music artists for the week of Feb. 26, 2017!

First up for you is a Glam Rock / Rock n Roll band from Cantu, Italy. It’s three guys who call themselves Faz Waltz. I did a Google translate search (polite laughter here) and couldn’t find out what “Faz Waltz” means. I guess it doesn’t matter. I think these guys are cool. They come with a good reputation too. From their webpage: “After four albums and hundreds of shows all around Europe, Faz Waltz have already set the bar so high that is impossible not to put them among the best european bands of the last decade.” They have a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/FAZ-WALTZ-36996846377/?pnref=story

#3) Faz Waltz – Rock’N’Roll Boy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6SPY52Q2BQ

At #2 (and #1) this week are bands introduced to us by Kona Cindy, the curator’s curator for fine sonic explosions. Cindy was just raving about these two brothers. And this video is HILARIOUS!!!!! Wikipedia says, “The Lemon Twigs are an American pop/rock band from Long Island, New York, United States, fronted by brothers Brian D’Addario and Michael D’Addario. Both brothers are vocalists, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, and are joined for most live performances by Megan Zeankowski on bass and Danny Ayala on keyboards and backing vocals.” I also hear that these two are, like, only 17-years-old. Really? Here’s their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/TheLemonTwigs/

#2) The Lemon Twigs:  I Wanna Prove to You https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJGzm2fF2Uo

At #1 is a trio named Honeychain. Honeychain have been around since 2012 and they descirbe themselves as a “Punky power pop, alternative rock band from Los Angeles.” They have a new album coming out this year that is produced by Kim Shattuck of “The Muffs” & “The Pandoras” fame. Check out their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/honeychainmusic/

#1) Honeychain – Messy Love: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJzE51Kz0vY

TODAY’S SPOTLIGHT ARTIST! Is a band originally from Osaka who now reside in Tokyo. This, folks, is IMHO Japan’s most entertaining rock group. They call themselves, “The Neatbeats.” The Neatbeats have been around for twenty years and put on the most entertaining live show I have ever seen in my life – and I’ve even seen The Smothers Brothers and Tony Bennett live! They just released their new record and will be guests on my radio show, WTF? tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017 from 9:30 am ~ 10 am doing an acoustic live set. They also star in my full length motion picture, “Ghostroads – A Japanese Rock n Roll Ghost Story” that will be released in theaters all over Japan this fall. Check out the trailer herehttps://vimeo.com/197078048
