It’s time once again for the Top 3 Indies Artist Video Countdown. The Top 3 best Indies and Alternative Music artists for the week of Oct. 15, 2016!
First up is a guy who was introduced to us by Ginger Wildheart who is a regular on our Top 3. Introducing Chris Catalyst. Chris is a “Bloke in some bands” and he is from Leeds, England. Finally, at #1 is Garbage and their newest single Magnetized. Why did I pick this as this week’s #1? Well, because the little girl who plays Shirley Manson as a child, is my niece! No kidding… Well, not exactly my real niece… But I am proud enough of her and her dad (who is one of my best friends and a legendary stand up bassist) to call them my own. Shirley Manson and Garbage are awesome. Lenore, the little kid, is a natural… And, perhaps a future star? I can see her doing sequels and starring as Carrie….. Lenore! Great job! Well done! Don’t dream it. Be it!

SPOTLIGHT ARTIST! Today’s Spotlight Artist is a hot Japanese girl’s rock band from Tokyo named Su Ko D Koi. These girls have been on our Top 3 Video countdown many times. in the past. This time they’ve made a play on Offenbach’s “Heaven and Hell.” (I know that because, even though I am an old punk, I live in a house with classically trained pianists.) Offenbach’s “Heaven and Hell” used to be a staple at children’s Sports Days at elementary schools in Japan… So this is quite humorous for the Japanese.
